C.J. Kirk

Krav Maga Houston's Chief Instructor, C.J. Kirk, is certified and licensed through the Krav Maga Association of America as a Level 4 (Black Belt) instructor. Krav Maga Houston is the only certified and licensed school in Houston, TX and Mr. Kirk is one of a handful of civilian and Advanced Force Training instructors within the United States.  Mr. Kirk is also certified to teach the Krav Maga Apprentice Program.

In the past 10 years, Mr. Kirk has taught hundreds of civilians and many elements from local, state, and federal law enforcement and military units, including the United States Secret Service, Diplomatic Security Service, the Drug Enforcement Agency, the Federal Air Marshals, State Police, Harris County Sheriff's Deputies, Houston Police Department, and US Army SPECOPS. Mr. Kirk also holds rank in JKD and JuJitsu from the Aibu Jitsu Ryu organization.

Mr. Kirk received his Master's Degree from the University of St. Thomas in Houston in 1996. Mr. Kirk currently resides in Houston, TX, is a consultant, and teaches Krav Maga and the Samurai Arts at the One-2-One Training Center on Kirby Drive.

David Kuehn

Krav Maga Houston’s Lead “km-x” (kids program) instructor is certified by both Chief Instructor CJ Kirk and the Krav Maga Association of America as a Level 3 Krav Maga instructor and km-x instructor.  Mr. Kuehn teaches both adults and children and is also an associate member of Houston’s Krav Maga Force Training Group, teaching military and security personnel. 

Mr. Kuehn served in the United States Navy for 8 years, received his certificate as a Naval Instructor while deployed in the South Pacific and Far East, and served honorably in the Gulf War in 1990.  Mr. Kuehn also earned a Bachelors of Science from the University of Houston in 1995.  Mr. Kuehn is an avid hunter and marksman and resides in Katy, TX.

Dr. Charles “Charlie” Dyer

Krav Maga Houston’s Lead “Fight” instructor is certified by both Chief Instructor CJ Kirk and the Krav Maga Association of America as a Level 3 Krav Maga instructor.  Dr. Dyer teaches civilians and is also an associate member of Houston’s Krav Maga Force Training Group, teaching military and security personnel.  Further, Dr. Dyer holds a black belt in the art of Tae Kwon Do.

In 1999, Dr. Dyer earned a Masters of Science in Dentistry and a certification in the specialty of Periodontics.  Dr. Dyer is also an accomplished scuba & rescue diver, an underwater photographer, and recovering sky diving junkie.  Dr. Dyer resides in Houston, TX.
